Arizona scored a big commitment on Wednesday from one of the biggest names in the 2024 tournament, as five-star junior forward Carter Bryant of Sage Hill School in Newport Coast, Calif., announced on Monday. 247Sports’ YouTube The page he committed to with Wildcats. Bryant chose Arizona over a final group that also included Louisville after getting nearly two dozen offers from programs around the country.

Arizona made Bryant an early priority under head coach Tommy Lloyd with an offer to him in the summer of 2022, when he was then outside the top 20 in class recruiting rankings. Bryant’s star has shined over the past year as he rose to the top 10 talent by last fall and reached the top five this summer.
An official visit to the Arizona campus earlier this spring appears to have sealed the deal for Bryant after he has taken several more trips on an official basis. He’s visited Louisville and Gonzaga as well, but the relationship he had with Lloyd and the love he felt from the fans and players when he visited, he said, ultimately helped his decision to play for the Wildcats.
