The program announced Monday that the LSU women’s basketball team will officially visit the White House on May 26. The Tigers won their first LSU basketball national title – men’s or women’s – in Kim Mulkey’s second year as head coach in April.
Angel Reese and her teammates will become the fourth LSU sports team to celebrate its national championship at the White House. He also visited the football and baseball teams, as well as the track and field program.

“It hurt us in the moment, but you never had that experience,” Reese said. “To be able to go, I know my team definitely wants him to go, and my coach is supportive of that. I’m going to do what’s best for the team.”
