Andrew Tate offered some words of encouragement to boxing superstar Ryan Garcia after his loss to Gervonta “Tank” Davis on Saturday night.
Both boxers entered the bout at T-Mobile Arena with undefeated records, but only Gervonta Davis retained the “O” after he landed a brutal slam dunk on his opponent midway through the seventh round of a highly entertaining encounter inside the squared circle.
After the loss, Garcia tweeted a photo of him and Davis, suggesting that the two could have it on again one day. Andrew Tate responded to the tweet by saying, “Proud of you J.” Shortly before that, Tate delivered a warning to anyone on the social media platform who chooses to mock Garcia after he was knocked out in the seventh round.
“Any Twitter account I see that makes fun of Ryan Garcia gets banned,” Tate said chirp. “Unless you’re in the ring yourself, you’re not qualified to say a word. Always a coward who has a lot to say from outside the wrestler’s pit. The worst kind of people.”
Andrew Tate’s house arrest was extended by an additional 30 days
On December 29, Andrew Tate was arrested alongside his brother Tristan Tate and two known associates in Romania on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and forming an organized criminal group to exploit victims. No formal charges have been filed against the four people, but an investigation is ongoing. The four suspects were released on 31 March and placed under house arrest for 30 days. Bucharest court judges have since extended the house arrest for an additional 30 days.
Andrew Tate and his associates are accused of recruiting girls and forcing them to create pornographic content on the Internet. Prosecutors allege that the brothers solicited the women under the guise of wanting a relationship or marriage with the alleged victims.
Andrew Tate denied all accusations brought against him by the Romanian government, claiming that his arrest was politically motivated.
