The management of combat sports legend Alistair Overeem appears to have contradicted his recent retirement statement.
Many fans know and love Alistair Overeem’s work. Across kickboxing and mixed martial arts, he has built himself an incredible career and reputation. The veteran has fought and beaten the best of his generation, and a few days ago, it seemed, made it clear he was ready to hang up his gloves.

Overeem announced his retirement from MMA at the age of 43. However, despite this, there seems to be a new twist to the tale.
Main Event NL chose to contact its management team after the announcement. As it turns out, Alistair may have one or two more left in the tank, according to an Instagram post.

During an interview with @lovindubai, Alistair Overeem stated that he has decided to stop fighting.
What he does not announce is when he will.

Management pointed out that Overeem never stopped fighting.
