The adidas Ultraboost shoe has reached a milestone. The original was my introduction to the brand’s Three-Stripes BOOST technology, and over the years I’ve made more than a few pairs. The same can be said of the many generations of adidas BOOST golf shoes. But I often wondered, how cool it would be if Adidas combined the two and made an Ultraboost golf shoe.
Well, Adidas has answered that question by releasing the first Ultraboost shoes designed specifically for the course. The new Ultraboost Golf shoes will be available in limited quantities in two colorways – OG black and purpleAnd Each version is gray with pops of green Starting Friday, April 21st. In addition, adiClub members have early access to the Color silver and olive Available exclusively on adidas.com now.
Ultraboost Golf shoes are built in the same shape as the original Ultraboost, with golf-specific updates that perfectly blend golf performance with street fashion. ADIWEAR rubber outsole features elevated, textured lugs for non-slip performance and comfort on and off the trail. A textured anti-clumping surface on the outsole helps keep grass and dirt out for maximum traction throughout your swing. Of course, Ultraboost Golf shoes also feature a full-length BOOST cushioning because what would an Ultraboost shoe be without this distinctive feature?
A reinforced PRIMEKNIT upper and microfiber leather toe overlay provide added stability, while the upper combines waterproof yarns and waterproof mesh to help repel moisture. The floating, crocodile-weave saddle and TPU heel clip provide lateral stability throughout the swing, and the updated EVA sockliner is designed with slip-resistant and moisture-wicking properties.
Yes, the Ultraboost Golf Shoe is the shoe I’ve been waiting for since I put on my first pair. The elegant design and golf-specific features tick all the boxes for a casual round of the course. Thank you, Adidas, for answering my Ultraboost prayers.
