Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon told the media yesterday that he had trouble adjusting to Denver’s height during his time with the Orlando Magic.
(via Denver Nuggets):
Reporter: “[Michael] Malone has talked about trying to use the height and making an appearance in this Finals. How do you use that to your advantage, especially knowing that Miami went into action last night and have two prime days to acclimate? “
Gordon: “Well, altitude is actually an advantage. Teams play. I remember when I was in Orlando and came to play Denver, it was hard to get a first wind and a second wind. But this team is full of fighters. This team is without excuse. They don’t make excuses and they’re not going to use that as an excuse.” Honestly, we’re just going to play our game and try to play it and play the way we know how to play it.”
