Some of the best golfers in the world are in Scotland right now, playing in the Genesis Scottish Open and preparing for the finals next week in the season.
But back in the States, in dreamy Lake Tahoe, Nevada, a very different golf tournament is about to take place. The American Century Championship kicks off Friday at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course with some of the biggest sports stars in the world.
No, you won’t see Jordan Spieth or Rory McIlroy here. But you will see the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Steve Curry, John Elway and Aaron Rodgers.
The American Century Championship takes place Friday through Sunday, with the first round airing from 4-6pm ET on Peacock and running again on tape delayed from 9:30-11:30pm on The Golf Channel. Weekend rounds are from 2:30-6pm ET on NBC and Peacock.
Dubbed Golf’s Premier Celebrity Golf Championship, this is the 34th match at the event, which is also used as a fundraiser for local and national charities. The tournament is a 54-hole Stableford format and pays out $600,000, with $125,000 going to the winner. Tony Romo is the defending champion.
Below are the handicaps, courtesy of ACC Media Relations, of all the celebrities at the event.
