Vokey WedgeWorks has introduced a new 54.08 M Grind wedge, which master craftsman Bob Vokey considers his favorite design among his many creations.
Previously only available in 56-62° lofts, all with 8° of bounce, it is now available in 54° and is designed for players who like to spin the club front open and close to craft shots around the green.
“The M grind is a medium-rebound wedge that features a heel, toe, and trailing edge grind and is for players who want a sand wedge to play in medium to hard soil conditions or firmer shelters,” said Vokey. “It’s also perfect for the shallow, neutral or more voluptuous golfer who likes to play putts around the greens and face in a variety of directions or positions.”
The WedgeWorks M Grind is visually similar to the SM9 D Grind because it has a midsole with a wider heel, toe, and trailing edge. However, the 54.12 D Grind plays a higher effective bounce than the 54 M Grind. The M grind is better suited to players who have a neutral to shallow attack angle around the green and on larger swings, while the D grind is better suited to players who have a sharper delivery.
Featuring a modern and clean look, the 54°M Grind offers a canvas for customization, including stamping and embossing options around the toe. They can also be made to order with our industry leading selection of shafts, handles, shaft strips and rings.
Offered with a Dynamic Gold S200 steel shaft and Golf Pride 360 handlebar, the Limited Edition 54 M Grind is now available in right-hand and raw finish only while stocks last, with a recommended retail price of £199.
