SPOONER – In high school hockey on Friday, Jan. 20, the Spooner Rails traveled to St. Paul Johnson, suffering a 4-2 loss. The loss drops the Rails to 1-3 in the Independent Conference, and 2-7 overall.
The Rails took a 1-0 lead in the game as Deagan Cleveland scored an even-strength goal at 12:04 of the first period, assisted by Owen Dernovsek and Bret Vosberg.
