
COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Cross Country senior Marquette Hanson finished 174th with a 10k time of 30:47.1 at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning at OSU Cross Country Course.
The result concludes the decorated cross country career for the Warrensburg, Mo., native.
Hanson earned an at-large bid to the title race last week at the sports national selection show.
The senior paced the Tigers in all five of the races he entered this fall including an 18th-place result at the SEC Championships on Oct. 28.
He finished 11th with a time of 29:48.9 in the Midwest Regional 10k at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course on Nov. 11.
Hanson began the year by finding the finish line 15th at the Mizzou XC Opener on Sept. 1. From there, he notched back-to-back top 20 results with a 13th-place finish in the Gans Creek Classic and a 20th-place result at the Weis-Crockett Invitational on Oct. 15.
