STILLWATER, Okla. – Antonio Lopez Segura finished 137th at the 2022 NCAA Cross Country Championships in Stillwater, Okla. on Saturday, Nov. 19. Lopez Segura clocked in a time of 30:30.3 in the men’s 10k.
Lopez Segura qualified for the NCAA Championships finishing fifth at the Southeast Regionals in Louisville, Ky. with a time of 29:58.2, earning All-Region honors. He also earned All- ACC honors at the 2022 ACC Cross Country Championships on Friday, Oct.28 at the Panorama Farms Country Course crossing the line 11th with a time of 23:19.0.
Northern Arizona won the men’s 10k with a 3-2 tie breaker against Oklahoma State. Northern Arizona scored 83 points scoring 2 ,3, 18, 24, 36, while Oklahoma State scored 5, 8, 11 29, 30. Defending champions, NC State, won the women’s 6k with 114 points, led by Katelyn Tuohy crossing the line first and becoming the 2022 women’s individual national champion.
